This policy describes the information ArtisanCV collects when you create an account and generate documents.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email, and hashed password.
• Career profile data you enter: contact details, work history, education, certifications, and skills.
• Job postings, interview answers, resume drafts, and cover letters saved to your account.
• Billing records if you purchase a plan, processed by Stripe.
• Session cookies used to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, save your documents, generate drafts, process payments, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Processors

Draft generation is sent to OpenAI. Payments are processed by Stripe. Hosting and the production database run on Netlify. Password-reset email, when enabled, is sent through Resend.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and document data while your account is open. You can delete your account from Account Settings, which removes saved career data attached to that account.
